Join us for free houseplant advice on 25th March
We’re delighted to have teamed up with Gardeners’ World Live presenter and house plant doctor, Joe Bagley to host a free drop-in session for customers to get expert houseplant advice.
Joe will be joining us in the houseplant department at Tong Garden Centre from 12 pm on Saturday, 25th March to give advice and answer questions about houseplants.
“More people are interested in indoor gardening than ever before, and houseplants are growing in popularity because of their ability to help accessorise indoor spaces and improve air quality, “ said Joe.
“I’ll be on hand to advise people on the best houseplants to suit their homes and lifestyle and suggest the best rooms to keep them in. People are also welcome to bring photos of their houseplants to the session. I’ll be able to diagnose any problems they may have and give hints and tips to keep them in peak condition.”
“Joe’s houseplant expertise has earned him two appearances on Gardeners’ World and a regular slot on BBC Radio Leicester, so we’re looking forward to welcoming him to the ever-growing houseplant area at Tong,” said our indoor plant buyer, Jane Day.
Born in Leicester, Joe has been a keen gardener from a young age. Growing his first houseplants in 2013, he established his brand, UK Houseplants, in 2018.
