Did you know that we have added a fabulous Pumpkin Patch at Grass Hoppers?

When you come along for a proper autumn playtime,  you will have the option to pick your own pumpkin to take home and will be given a stencil to help you carve a design in your chosen size of pumpkin.

“Following the success of our ‘Spooktacular’ Halloween Parties, we introduced pumpkin picking to Grass Hoppers at Tong for the first time last year, and it was so popular that we have brought it to Tingley this year. Everybody loves selecting their own pumpkin and discussing how they will decorate them for Halloween”, said Ben Halmshaw, manager at Grass Hoppers at Tingley Garden Centre.

The price depends on the size of the pumpkin (there are three sizes available) and start at £2.49 in addition to the normal entry cost for Grass Hoppers.

This year’s ‘Spooktacular Playtime Parties’ take place at 2.45 pm on 31^st October at both Tong and Tingley Garden Centres.
