We were delighted to host a charity lunch for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

We welcomed over 80 guests to Tingley for a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust ‘Lunch and Learn’ event that raised over £650 for the charity recently.

The guests enjoyed a light lunch in Blooms Restaurant before Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s Volunteering Manager, Marie Fooks and BUD Project Manager, Sarah Goldsmith gave a talk about wildlife gardening.

“Thanks so much to the team at Tong for hosting a delicious lunch in beautiful surroundings. We had a great mix of volunteers, members and corporate supporters and everyone really enjoyed it,” said Amy Warner, fundraising manager at the Trust.

“It was great to welcome Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to Blooms at Tingley for an interesting and informative session about wildlife gardening, which is a subject that we’re passionate about at both Tong and Tingley,” said Tingley Garden Centre MD, Mark Farnsworth.
