Lottie Shaw’s Coronation Treat Tin with Eleanor Tomlinson

We’re extremely proud to be an exclusive retailer of the brand-new coronation treat tin, brought to you by Yorkshire’s Lottie Shaw’s and the award-winning artist, Eleanor Tomlinson.

We have been chosen as one of a few select Yorkshire independent retailers to offer the exclusive Lottie Shaw’s biscuit tin which includes a copy of Eleanor’s ‘Coronation Capers’ illustration, only available in this size with the biscuit tin.

Following on from her much-loved royal related pieces in 2022, Eleanor has created this special piece of artwork for this once in a lifetime occasion that captures everything ‘Best of British’ in one joyful and very patriotic artwork.

Her new piece is dedicated to celebrating His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation with a fun, quirky and British twist featuring King Charles Cavaliers, Jack Russells, Corgis and bunting, all set upon the Buckingham Palace balcony overlooking The Mall, crowds and a skyline of London!

Eleanor became globally known for creating a piece of art for HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum jubilee known as Jubilee Ma’amalade Tea and later that year, she produced other touching tribute pieces following Her Majesty’s sad passing, which achieved similar recognition.

Born and raised in Yorkshire, Eleanor has always been inspired by her home amongst the countryside, and the wildlife she found herself surrounded by which has been a huge influence for much of her artwork today.

Now based near South Cave, East Yorkshire, Eleanor’s story began when she was just thirteen years old, after she won the age category of a local ‘design a Christmas card’ competition advertised in a local magazine, The Journal. Her ‘Robin in the Snow’ design was created into Christmas cards to help raise money for charity.

She pursued her passion and, three years after graduating from York St John University with a First- Class Honours degree in Illustration, she settled in Yorkshire doing ‘what she loves, where she lives.’ In 2022, she famously posted a charming illustration on her social media page that instantly went viral – the well-known and well-loved ‘Jubilee Ma’amalade Tea’. The illustration was so in demand and Eleanor became an overnight sensation around the world!

Eleanor  has worked with one of our beloved Heartisans, Lottie Shaw’s for some time now, with her beautiful illustrations appearing on a selection of biscuit tins. Lottie Shaw’s has a real pride and passion for ‘scratch baking’– and of course renowned for her award-winning Yorkshire parkin, Lottie continues to create seriously good bakes from her bakery in Brighouse.

We’re delighted to be one of a select few independent retailers working with this celebratory collaboration between two Yorkshire businesses, combining tasty baked treats and fun illustrations. Is there a better way to celebrate the coronation?

Available from Yorkshire Garden Centre from Monday 27th March. While Stocks last!

The Lottie Shaw’s Tin of Tea Time Treats features The Coronation Sleeve and an A5 souvenir card of ‘Coronation Capers’ illustrated by Eleanor Tomlinson.
