Our wonderful houseplant team have put together their top five tips for the season – so give their blog a read and put their expert tips to the test!

The cleaner your plants leaves are, the better they can take in sunlight and photosynthesise!

Carefully wipe your plant’s leaves with a dampclean cloth to remove any dust or grime – we all need a little refresh every now and then!

If the roots of your plant are bursting out of the pot, you may need to re-pot your plant into a larger size! Don’t forget to refresh the plant with some nutrientrich potting compost. Have you tried peat-free houseplant compost yet?

As you begin increasing your watering routine, a regular feeding schedule can be introduced, too! A general houseplant feed is ideal! We recommend the ‘Houseplant Focus, Pour & Grow’ – now only £2.99 for our Green Card members or £5.99 at our regular price.

As the sunshine slowly returns, it’s important to think about the positioning of your plants. Those that were near a bright window in winter will need to be set back further to avoid too much strong light.
