In 2008, Julia Medforth began to serve her homemade Raspberry Gin Liqueur to guests at shoots hosted on their farm, Raisthorpe Manor, and it proved such a hit! From these modest beginnings producing their homemade gins and liqueurs in the farmhouse kitchen, the business has grown substantially. Today, the Medforth family craft delicious gins and liqueurs using old family recipes and the finest ingredients, often foraged from the local hedgerows.
Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, made famous by David Hockney’s paintings, Raisthorpe Manor’s products have already won 54 awards and two of its liqueurs are currently stocked in the cocktail bars of Harvey Nichols nationwide.
