A new restaurant in the making | The Mezzanine
There’s so much happening here at Tong as the latest phase of our build progresses well.
The ground floor of the new building will be home to our extensive range of gardening products and, with more space, allow us to introduce an even greater choice. On the first floor, we’ll soon be inviting you to eat, drink and relax with us in The Mezzanine, our brand-new table service restaurant opening in autumn. The Mezzanine will offer an alternative to The Restaurant with an exciting menu including brunch, sweet and savoury sharing platters as well as a choice of delicious new dishes at lunchtime. Beautifully designed to offer relaxed dining with an open aspect, you can also enjoy a carefully selected range of wines, beers and champagnes.
In the main building we’re also making more changes that all aim to deliver an even better experience for our customers. We’re delighted to announce that Pavers will see a significant expansion, allowing them to bring a much bigger range to Tong. Sadly, we’ll also say goodbye to a few of our retail partners, including Mountain Warehouse, Julian Charles and Klass, who all joined us five years ago when we began the transformation of Tong. We have some very exciting plans for this space which will start to take shape in the new year and, in the meantime, this space will allow for our Christmas ranges to be more spaced, with social distancing in mind, and help to ensure our customers can shop with confidence during the festive period.
