Spring is almost in sight and your garden is beginning to awake from it’s winter slumber. Bulbs will begin to appear and wildlife will start to return to your garden as the days get longer and temperatures increase.
It’s still a month of preparation, whether you’re sowing seeds, tidying up your lawn or showing your garden a little TLC, so grab your coat and head outside as your garden begins to come to life!
LOVE YOUR LAWN
As your grass grows, it’s a great time to feed and condition, kill moss, get rid of lawn weeds and begin mowing! Show your lawn a little love now and you’ll have a pretty patch all summer long.
IT’S BEDDING SEASON
Whether it’s Pansies, Violas, Geraniums or Marigolds, bedding plants are a perfect way to add instant colour to your garden and patio. Just remember to protect them against any late frosts!
TACKLE WEEDS EARLY
Keep your paths and driveways in tip top shape with the Weedol Pathclear weed killer, killing pesky weeds down to the root and preventing new growth.
START FEEDING

WATCH OUT FOR PESTS
Slugs will begin to attack your young plants so invest in a pest control such as Vitax Slug Gone wool pellets, a wildlife friendly way to to ensure your plants are protected.
SOW OUTDOORS
You can start to direct sow hardy annuals such as Marigolds, Poppies and Digitalis outside – ideal for gardeners who do not have much room to keep delicate seedlings indoors!
