We’ve reached the final in three categories of the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards
The YGC team is celebrating after being shortlisted for three regional business awards.
We’re proud and delighted to share the news that we have been shortlisted in the Sustainability, the Large Business and the Rob Burrow Outstanding Contribution to Charity categories of the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.
YGC MD, Mark Farnsworth, said: “It’s a testament to the efforts of our hard-working team to have reached the final in three categories at this year’s awards. We are particularly pleased to be recognised for our fundraising efforts with a shortlist place for the new Rob Burrow award. Our teams work year round to support a wide range of regional and community charitable and are proud to make a difference in our local communities.”
In the Rob Burrow Outstanding Contribution to Charity award, we face competition from Karl Avison from Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café, Regal Food Products Group, RJC Plant Services, Rob Northfield and Gripple. Fellow finalists in the Large Business of the Year are FMG, Kings Secure Technologies, Royal Armouries, Torsion Group and Zenith and in the Sustainability award, it’s Ambion Heating, Burendo, instantprint, The Bio-D Company and Zenith.
We will learn whether we have been successful at an awards ceremony at Headingley Stadium on 21st November that will be hosted by BBC Look North anchor Amy Garcia.
Now in their 19th year, the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards recognise and reward businesses and the vital role that they play in Yorkshire’s economic success.
